This air freshener is designed to hang freely and is not to come in contact with any plastic, painted, or varnished surface. Avoid contact with these surfaces. 

Each freshener will release aromas for 7-10 days, depending on the climate. To make your air freshener last long, keep them out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Unopened air fresheners have a shelf life of 2 years when kept in a cool, dry place.
